Visiting Scholars

The International Visiting Scholars Program facilitates global collaboration between international visiting scholars and Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington faculty hosts with similar research interests.

Optimal collaborations are mutually beneficial and produce tangible outcomes, such as published papers, symposia, and conference presentations.


To apply, first review the information for applicants. Prospective scholars should apply 4-6 months in advance of their intended arrival, to allow time for developing an agreed-upon research plan, visa processing, and other arrangements.

  2. CV (in English)
  3. One letter of recommendation
  4. Letter from home department or institution indicating permission for a leave of absence and visit to the Indiana Univeristy School of Public Health-Bloomington
