Joan Weinberg Wolf Scholarship

The Joan Weinberg Wolf Scholarship for Dietetics is awarded to an undergraduate student studying Dietetics in the Department of Applied Health Science. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Joan Weinberg Wolf graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Home Economics with a focus on dietetics in 1955. While at Indiana University, She met her husband, Walter Wolf, and soon after graduation, Walter joined the army and they both moved to Germany where Walter was stationed. She had been selected for an internship but was not able to accept it as she was moving out of the country with her husband. Wolf has had a lifetime interest in dietetics and the field of medicine. Due to this intense interest, on the occasion of Joan’s 70th birthday, Walter Wolf established this scholarship.
