Exercise Physiology

A broad and versatile curriculum

As an exercise physiology student, you will take a broad range of core courses in subject areas including epidemiology, human performance, and the respiratory and cardiovascular physiology of exercise. You will also complete several electives, which may include organic chemistry, statistics, biosynthesis, independent research, or a master's thesis. To acquire more hands-on experience, you will be able to assist with a wide variety of ongoing research experiments in the exercise physiology laboratories. With this degree, you'll be prepared for a Ph.D. program or a career in a research laboratory setting.
