Living Learning Center

Amenities and fees

Read Residence Center is located in the southeast part of campus—an easy five-minute walk from the heart of campus, including the School of Public Health. It features several lounges, study rooms, music practice rooms, a dining court, a community kitchen, game room, computer lab, quiet study areas, and more. Living options include single and double rooms with a semi-private half bath between them. Floors are divided into all-male and all-female wings.

The annual program fee is $200, which supports the additional events and activities you will have access to.

How to apply

Choose the School of Public Health LLC as your top preference when you complete your IU housing application. You will be asked to submit answers to a number of questions about your understanding of well-being and the impact you hope to make as an LLC community member. Space is limited in our community so we encourage you to apply early.

Any student interested in well-being and/or interested in living a healthy lifestyle is encouraged to apply. The School of Public Health sponsors our community, however all majors are welcome! Many students living in the SPH LLC are pursuing career paths related to public health, medicine, physical therapy, nursing, psychology, neuroscience, athletics and sport management. Students who are directly admitted to the School of Public Health are encouraged to apply as an avenue to connect with fellow SPH students.

If you have already applied for housing, just log in again to your application and add the School of Public Health LLC to your preference list, then complete our application questions. You will be added to our list of applicants.
