Scholarly Interests
Dr. Ge
strives to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets to inform and
advance public health. His research in biostatistics focuses on developing
statistical methods to address measurement error and bias in health studies,
with an emphasis on refining tools for studying causal relationships between
exposures and long-term health outcomes.
Specifically, Dr. Ge works on correcting misclassification
and measurement error in disease surveillance, cancer epidemiology, and
environmental health. By leveraging electronic health records (EHRs) and
innovative study and sampling designs, Dr. Ge seeks to strengthen
epidemiological methods and improve the reliability of health research. In
addition, he also collaborates extensively with professionals across
disciplines—including epidemiology, medicine, economics, and public
health—providing statistical expertise to support the shared goal of improving
population health.
