The SPH-B Recognition Event on December 20, 2024 is a separate occasion from Indiana University Commencement.
At IU Commencement, graduating students from every school across campus gather in traditional graduation attire (cap and gown) and are not recognized individually.

This is a great opportunity for friends, family, and loved ones to commemorate your graduation in a school-specific event that will recognize you by name from the stage.
THINGS TO KNOW: -The names of participating graduates will be read aloud during the event.
-All participating graduates must wear business professional attire. Cap and gown are not worn at the Recognition Event.
-Participating graduates may wear cords and stoles along with their business professional attire.
-Participating graduates must apply to graduate from Indiana University no later than October 1 (see below).
The Office of the Registrar creates and delivers diplomas, which are typically mailed 10 to 12 weeks after your degree is conferred. You need to be sure your name appears correctly and that your mailing address is correct. Find out all about your diploma atStudent Central.
