The Office of Undergraduate Advising provides academic guidance, information, and general assistance to each student. Advisors work with students in mapping their courses so that they can find the most efficient route to on-time graduation and the best match for their intended careers.

The Office of Degree Administration provides Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington students with academic program requirements, policies, and procedures, including the online academic advisement reporting system. Our Degree Administration Office coordinates undergraduate certification, maintains student academic records, assists students with academic progress transactions, monitors degree progress, and certifies degrees. Our Degree Administration Office also manages the school’s Schedule of Classes, accreditation reporting in relation to student records, participates in new student onboarding events, and collaborates with SPH-B faculty in the formulation of academic policies by participating as non-voting members in the Standing Committees of the SPH-B Academic Council.

The Office of Development and Alumni Engagement strives to ensure an active and committed alumni community, as well as financial investment in our programs and scholarship. The Events and Ceremonies team collaborates with the five SPH-B academic departments as well as various offices—including the Office of the Dean—to plan and execute events throughout the academic year. These range from informal personnel gatherings to professional development opportunities to celebrations of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

The Office of Facilities, Space Planning, Risk Management, and Emergency Preparedness provides leadership over the broad spectrum of facilities-related functions at the School of Public Health-Bloomington. Specific areas include facilities master planning, capital project development, construction management, space management, risk management, and emergency preparedness.

The School of Public Health-Bloomington Finance Team manages the financial operations and financial planning, analysis and reporting for the school.

The Grant Administration office assists faculty in the preparation of grant applications and proposals for research, service, training, and other program operations supported by external funding. Our team provides guidance for grant application submissions as well as oversight of post-award administration.

The Office of Human Resources supports the broader Indiana University academic and research mission through a wide variety of strategic and operational functions related to recruiting, retaining, and developing a diverse employee workforce.

The Information Technology Services team supports IU School of Public Health-Bloomington faculty and staff and ensures that they have the information technology tools, resources, and infrastructure they need to engage in administration, research, scholarship, teaching, learning, and community service.

The Office of International Affairs facilitates international programming and global health partnerships for the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington. Our study abroad programming includes student exchange and faculty-led study tours, as well as activities for our international students. The visiting scholar program supports international, collaborative research by matching international visiting scholars and faculty hosts with similar interests.

The Marketing and Communications team articulates the mission of the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington through promotional and marketing materials. We also plan and execute various celebrations and ceremonies throughout the year.

The School of Public Health Office of Online Education (SPH OOE)  is dedicated to providing quality and flexibility in the school’s online teaching and learning through powerful, state-of-the-art, yet easy-to-use tools. Our school’s online graduate program portfolio, MyPublicHealthDirect, offers a wide range of online public health graduate degrees thus providing our students with the opportunity to meet their educational and professional goals efficiently and virtually anywhere. Our staff also assists faculty with online course development and grant assets.

The Office of Public Health Practice aims to enhance current and future public health professionals' practice through strategic capacity building, applied experiences, and leveraging academic resources to meet community needs.

The Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion works within the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington to address issues of importance to underrepresented students, faculty, and staff. Our staff creates and facilitates opportunities for current students to strengthen their personal and professional development.
