The IU School of Public Health-Bloomington visiting scholar program supports international, collaborative research by matching international visiting scholars and IU School of Public Health-Bloomington faculty hosts with similar interests.
Optimal collaborations are mutually beneficial and produce tangible outcomes, such as published papers or presentations.
Prospective scholars should apply 4–6 months in advance of their intended arrival through a faculty member host and departmental liaison, to allow time for developing an agreed-upon research plan, visa processing, and other arrangements.
