The Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington (SPH-B) Strategic Plan 2025–2030 outlines a bold and comprehensive roadmap to advance public health teaching and learning, research, community engagement, and operational excellence over the next five years. Developed to guide innovation and impact, the plan is organized around four strategic pillars: Teaching and Student Experience, Research, Community, and Operations.
Leaders across the School of Public Health–Bloomington, both new and experienced, are actively bringing the strategic plan to life. To ensure accountability and measure progress, the school established the Strategic Plan Oversight Committee. Chaired by Dr. Justin Otten, the committee includes Dr. Rich Holden, Dr. Kathleen Sobiech, Luis-Enrique Becerra-Garcia, and Kate Wallace.
Expert Working Groups are also driving the implementation of specific strategies in the plan. These groups unite faculty, staff, and students from across the school to set priorities, track progress, and share results on a regular basis.
