I assisted in the development of Quit for 2, a tobacco cessation program for pregnant women, to improve birth outcomes in our area. I facilitate one-on-one sessions to promote positive behavior change and provide individualized care tailored to the needs of each participant, while incorporating other important health education and support such as safe sleep and postpartum mental health.

The Indiana Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) is the Hoosier implementation of the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP). The BCCP provides access to breast and cervical cancer screenings, diagnostic testing, and treatment for underserved and underinsured women who qualify for services. I oversee the clinical side of the program and services while following the participants through screening and diagnostic tests to a diagnosis or initiation of treatment, as well as maintaining relationships with providers.

I managed ASPIN CHW training for Hispanic and Latino communities, delivered remote programs, developed bilingual curricula, and utilized LMS for coordination.
