Objectives

  • Obj. 1: By graduation, 90% of students will demonstrate skills to improve functional outcomes and increase participation in life activities though successful completion of SPH-Y 277, SPH-Y 378, SPH-Y 379, SPH-Y 470, and SPH-Y 472 with a grade of C or better
  • Obj. 2: By graduation, 90% of students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of health conditions through competition of SPH-R 210 and SPH-Y 277with a grade of C or better.
  • Obj. 3: By graduation, 90% of students will demonstrate behaviors to improve functional outcomes and increase participation in life activities through successful competition of SPH-Y 497.

Outcomes

  1. IU RT program will prepare competent entry-level recreational therapists who are able to demonstrate the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behaviors) necessary for RT practice.
  2. IU RT program graduates will be able to demonstrate satisfactory performance of NCTRC task analysis content areas necessary for practice.
  3. IU RT program graduates will be able to demonstrate satisfactory performance in documenting evidence-based practice with clients.
