Program Management Specialist
Chelsea Simpkins, BA is a Program Management Specialist in the Applied Health Science Department at Indiana University School of Public Health. She also is a masters student pursuing a dual degree in Public Health and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She has over five years of experience in academic research with an interest in community engagement, grassroots efforts, underserved populations, and program implementation. Chelsea provides support and project logistics to several community engagement projects, including the Heart Healthy Hoosiers program, Community Health Improvement Plan Implementation Strategies Related to Community Navigation in Four Rural Communities project, and the Daviess Advances Recovery Access Consortium project.
