Steps to take for your non-SPH-B overseas experience
- Meet with your SPH-B academic advisor before registering for any international experience that is not sponsored by the SPH-B Office of International Affairs. Your advisor will help you understand how non-SPH-B study abroad credits may transfer and ensure the experience aligns with your degree requirements and academic plan.
- Once you have a general idea of how a non-SPH-B study abroad program can work into your plans, head to the Education Abroad office to learn more about programs that best suit your interests.
- After you select a program, you may want to visit your SPH-B academic advisor for a second time in your study abroad planning, this time for help in selecting overseas courses.
If you want a course to transfer as an SPH-B course you will first want to check here to see a list of courses that have already been approved: Course Equivalency List
If your courses are not on the approved list, you will need to submit the course for approval, by clicking here: Course Approval Form. Please complete the step before going abroad.
