A Graduate Certificate in Public Health provides a solid foundation in the core disciplines of public health. You’ll be trained in 22 competencies through coursework in epidemiology, population health determinants, assessment, and health policy – all of which are designed to help you jumpstart your public health career.
The Certificate in Public Health is a 15-credit program comprised of the following five courses:

- Assessment & Public Health
- Practicum
All courses count toward an M.P.H. for students who choose to continue their graduate study. Certificate students work closely with faculty to jumpstart their public health careers through community-based practicum experiences.
