Dear School of Public Health Students, Faculty, Staff, and Friends:
We are profoundly saddened by the news of the tragic loss of many lives due to two major earthquakes that hit southeast Turkey and Northern Syria early Monday. We convey our sincere condolences to all victims and survivors. We will continue to support (in both spirit and practice) the affected families, communities, the government, and the people of both countries as they respond to the aftermath of Monday’s devastating earthquake.
To our Turkish and Syrian friends, colleagues, students, partners, neighbors, and collaborators, we offer our condolences. Our hearts are with you. If any community member needs help regarding this devastation, please reach out. We, your colleagues, and the resources of the school, the campus, and the university are all here for you.
Thank you,
