Dr. Linder seeks to use interdisciplinary approaches to investigate cardiovascular physiology and immunology to better understand how health behaviors (e.g., diet and physical activity) influence the crosstalk between the cardiovascular and immune systems to impact health and performance. He has been involved with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Physiological Society (APS), and the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) through the NIH. Outside of the laboratory, he enjoys being involved in his local running communities, keeping up with old friends through games, and trying new beers at local breweries.
