SCHOLARLY INTERESTS
Dr. Zeller's expertise lies in curricular design and the enhancement of college student learning experiences. Utilizing an interactive and active learning methodology, Dr. Zeller brings nearly a decade of experience in creating dynamic and engaging educational environments. Her extensive background in the sport industry encompasses marketing, branding, event management and operations, sport sponsorship, and internship program administration. Incorporating this industry experience, the learning experiences Dr. Zeller has developed significantly contribute to the professional and personal growth of students. Dr. Zeller has instructed a diverse range of courses, including Psychology of Leadership, Communication as Leaders, Advanced Sport Facility & Sponsorship, Sport Communication & New Media, Introduction to Sport Management, Leadership in Sport Management, Youth Sport Management, among others.
Dr. Zeller's research interests encompass the intersection of sport and family, athlete development and well-being, sport-based youth development, the role of social media in sport and its impact on athletes, effective pedagogical techniques, as well as other various topics, including faith, family, parenting, mentoring, and more.
