Scholarly Interests
My research interest covers organizational behaviors, human resource management, and psychological development in sport management using both traditional and biometric methods (Galvanic Skin Response [GSR], Electroencephalogram [EEG], etc.). Specifically, my research examines how passion defines job seekers in sport, affects their application decisions, determines their career goals, and motivates them to take certain actions. Moreover, I investigate where does passion come from, how does it grow, what are its components, and eventually in what ways does passion influence individual job seekers, employees, and sport organizations. Overall, my research uses quantitative, qualitative, and pioneer ways such as biometric experiments to address both the theoretical gap in sport management literature as well as the industry problem to help organizations better understand sport job seekers, attract qualified applicants, build a quality candidate pool, and eventually increases organizational performance. In addition, I also focus on the interaction between sport marketing and organizational behavior with numerous scholarly work.
