Background
I am a North American product. I completed my undergraduate training in Mexico, my graduate training in Canada, and my post-doctoral training in the US. I am an implementation scientist working at the intersection of lifestyle medicine and chronic conditions. My work focuses on testing implementation strategies to integrate proven health interventions and practices in real-world settings. Currently, I have a K01 award from NHLBI focused on estimating the cost-effectiveness of diverse implementation strategies for integrating cardiovascular disease prevention in routine HIV care. I also work building implementation research capacity in low- and middle-income countries and am Associate Program Director for the NIH-funded COllaborative research, implementation, And LEadership training to address chronic Conditions across the lifecoursE (COALESCE).
