A research-based degree that works for you
The M.S. in Applied Health Science offers majors in four distinct fields: health promotion, nutrition science, and safety management. Whichever path is yours, you will gain both research and practical experience as you earn this degree.
You will have opportunities to work on individualized research with our award-winning faculty, as well as volunteer service projects and other forms of community engagement.
If you work as a professional in safety management, you can complete your degree without ever setting foot on campus.
If you are interested in a practice-based degree, the Department of Applied Health Science also offers Master of Public Health degrees with concentrations in Behavioral, Social, and Community Health and Public Health Administration.
